This series is an AU of the Shadowhunters TV series, branching away from canon when Alec is still a toddler. I’m following a lot of my own head-canon here for things that aren’t described in the TV series. For instance, siblings cannot be parabatai, and Shadowhunters are automatically considered adults as soon as they pass the required tests for full duty, tests requiring high levels of intellectual, physical, and mental prowess. (There are appropriate laws around like things sexual conduct so teenagers are protected.) There may be other worldbuilding quirks that pop up too.
This is a Malec series, although they won’t meet until Shadowwings – Revelations.
